RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- The Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a statement on Thursday that the advocates of prisoners working in Israeli courts declared had suspended their work Thursday in commemoration of the Nakba.

The club said that the suspension is to emphasize their support for the administrative detainees in Israeli prison currently on hunger strike, and against new Israeli restrictions on their work defending Palestinian prisoners.

A group of nearly 100 Palestinian administrative detainees have been on hunger strike for more than 20 days in protest against their detention without charge or trial for an extended period of time by Israel.
