GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- A woman was killed late Saturday in a family feud in the central Gaza Strip, relatives told Ma'an.

Hijaziyya al-Louh, 65, died after being hit several times in the head during a brawl between her family and the al-Yaziji family, her cousin said.

Mahmoud al-Louh said an "old dispute" between the two neighboring families came to a head on Saturday, developing into a clash with rods.

Hijaziyya was killed while trying to prevent her children from getting involved in the fight, Mahmoud said.

Gaza police dispersed the brawl and opened an investigation into the incident, he added.

Now let the global community observe 'hamas justice system' at work!! Will it be a scientifically rigorous, due diligence investigation, producing hard forensic evidence? Or will it be just pontificating 'shariah rhetorical words' heavily colored by corruption? No wonder the arab world writes they want a democracy with an honest justice system!

Justice is 'justice', how it is served depends on those tasked with bringing it about, not the type of law in force at any given time. As to democracy with an honest justice system, does such a thing exist? Birmingham Six, Lawrence, there are more.....including the many on death row in USA.
