GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- Mufeed al-Hasayna, minister of public works and housing of the new unity government, said Tuesday that his ministry would study the projects of the previous government to continue working on them.

Al-Hasayna told Ma’an after the cabinet’s first meeting that “our hope is that Arab and Islamic countries would support us financially and in ending the siege on Gaza, and that is our hope for the coming weeks and months.”

He said that several issues concerning Palestinian citizens were discussed during the meeting and that the government is working on quick accomplishment in a short period of time.

Al-Hasayna added: “We hope the crossings will be open to facilitate bringing in construction supplies” for Gaza.

Financial/trade support & diplomatic relations with Palestine is certainly NOT much for Palestine to ask, after how little has been done, overall,to help Palestine during the last 70yrs under Zionist-Israel occupation.USG successfully(& conditionall)"funded"Egypt,Iraq,Jordan along with Wahhabi Riyadh funding Egypt,Lebanon to ignore Palestinian plight under Zionist expansion!Arab nations/states owe Palestine BIG support after previous negligence, while they received FMF/USAID!They owe Israel nothing
