RAMALLAH (Ma’an) – The PLO executive committee said Tuesday that it held Israel completely responsible for the lives of prisoners on hunger strike.

The committee condemned Israel’s approach to the lives of the prisoners and their demands.

It warned that dozens are being moved to hospitals and are at the risk of dying at any time.

The PLO called on the secretary general of the UN and the head of the UN human rights commission to intervene to save the lives of the prisoners.

If they choose to die, then let them. We all call our own shots.

@1- The hunger strikers have a legitimate cause & are on hunger strike because their rights have been violated under international law. They are not choosing to die, they are as a matter of dignity, choosing to protest against their detention, which is in contravention of The Geneva Convention, The Hague Convention & The Human Rights Act to name a few. I hope the PLO get a quick response from the EU & UN on this matter. Palestinians have suffered enough.

The State of Israel is responsible for the prisoners' punishment, and the PLO is responsible for Preventing their crimes of murder & Terrorism.
