HEBRON (Ma'an) -- An Israeli soldier was knocked over by a rolling tire during clashes in the village of Beit Ummar on Friday.

During the clashes, two Palestinians were injured with rubber-coated steel bullets in the lower extremities, while dozens suffered from tear gas inhalation.

In a video published on the Facebook page of popular committee spokesman Muhammad Ayad Awad, meanwhile, an Israeli soldier is seen trying to stop a rolling tire by kicking it, but instead falls to the ground.

Palestinians watching the incident cheered as he fell over, with another soldier trying to stop the tire by throwing a rock at it to no avail.

The soldier immediately gets up and tries to shrug off his embarrassment, aiming his gun at Palestinians filming the incident.

He seemed a good sport, with all that cumbersome protective gear !

Funny, though explosives could have been in the tire

And if the Israeli soldier's head was crushed, the Palestinians would whoop and sing and hand out candies - just like they do when they blow up Israeli buses full of women and children. Unless they change and make peace and build a society, Palestine is just another sick dictatorship culture that the world does not need.

Seems funny to me, the soldier seemed ok about it & the Palestinians were laughing. Of course Brian Cohen saw the darkest possible scenario. What will you do if peace really comes Brian, wear sack cloth & ashes for the rest of your life?

The IDF soldiers are nothing but pieces of inhumanity fit only to respond to with revulsion or laughter, laughter is a healthy response for us all to respond to when confronted with them. We who live watching Injustice and depravity keep on living and loving and laughing in its face.

A hint of humanity under his helmet? A sign of how WELL Israeli Jews could get on with Palestinians,if not for delusional extremist-Zionist"warrior"brainwashing compelling them to don the military drab & pull triggers on civilians! Brave soldier, for NOT pulling your trigger! All those young guys should be eating, playing soccer, together &having a good time. Buried somewhere, under rotting Zionism, there are many Jews desperate to escape it.Wherever you are, come out & join Palestine for soccer&tea!

#9 Sherri: The sad thing is that no child is born inhuman. The IDF soldiers are conditioned & indoctrinated to believe in their role (just like US soldiers (GI = Government Issue). This is no more than state sanctioned abuse & thought control, which is presented under the guise of protecting the homeland. Love & laughter are truly gifts. Every free thinking human being should cling to them, when ever they're fortunate enough to be presented with them. I wish there could be more love in the world

Brandy - let me roll a flaming tire down a hill at you as you drive by, then tell me if you think it's a dark scenario or not. And if peace comes, I'll be in the front lines holding my Arab neighbors hands and singing kumbaya with them. Why don't you join us (me and my Arab neighbors) for a discussion? That way you might not post ignorant comments. I'm happy to meet you at the local supermarket where settlers and Palestinians shop and work side by side. I dare you to come.

Gosh Maureen, go home to where? I live here. Maybe you should give up and go home to England and give Aussieland back to the the Aborigines. As for Sherri, we all know she continues to live high on the hog of injustice and depravity of her continued occupation of native American lands. Sherri is an American colonist and settler, a fact she likes to forget about every day. But the truth is out there - Sherri is just part of the massive American model that proves occupation and settlement works.

The soldier smiled and so did his mate. They showed that they can take a joke.

Brian, How can the Palestinians make peace when Bibi refuses to talk to Abbas? When Bibi did not put one proposal on the table in 9 months? When Bibi continues building more and more houses in settlements? Israel is now a country where the average man in the street has lost his moral compass. It is a country where they continue to drive like lunatics killing themselves and each other, yet that continues whilst the focus is on the 'other'. Peace has to come from both sides and Bibi is unwilling.

#13 Brian Cohen What do you define as "Israel" the place where you live? BTW, how come you agree with the old British colonialism being implemented by Israel against Palestinian people nowadays? And what advise do you have for all the Australian Jewish people who agree with your apartheid policies being practiced by Israel, the same Jewish Australians who claim to be against such apartheid being perpetrated against Australian Aborigines! Hypocrites!

HAHA so funny...and then, when a soldier will throw a tire against a palestinian, the madia will show the evidance of israeli torturing a palestinian.
