BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The Ministry of Health will deduct a portion of the monthly wages of doctors who have been on strike for several weeks, an official said Sunday.
"Employees who do not fully comply with their work schedule lose a portion of their wages equal to the number of days they were absent," the health ministry's director-general said.
Doctors employed by the Ministry of Health have been on strike for weeks, protesting against the ministry's "disregard for doctors' legitimate rights."
