HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Thousands of people on Friday took part in the funeral procession of Mahmoud Jihad Muhammad Dudeen, 14, who was killed by Israeli forces overnight during a raid.

The procession began at the al-Kabir mosque in Dura, with mourners walking with Dudeen's body to the town's cemetery.

Residents chanted slogans for national unity and condemned the shooting and daily crimes committed by Israeli forces against Palestinians.

Local sources told Ma'an that Mahmoud Jihad Muhammad Dudeen was struck by live bullets in the chest before being taken to Hebron Governmental Hospital, where he was shortly pronounced dead.

The local sources said Israeli forces opened fire directly on Mahmoud during the clashes which occurred in the Haninia neighborhood of Dura.

Another Palestinian, Mustafa Hosni Aslan, 22, died on Friday after being shot in the head by Israeli forces during a raid on Qalandiya refugee camp south of Ramallah.

- Probably they are chanting death to Israel, and death to Jews, so that the next generations, like the past one, never considers peace either, but
- IF PALESTINIANS ACCEPT PEACE, by talks, negotiations, & compromise,
THEN THEIR DYING WILL END, AND THEIR PROSPERITY WILL BEGIN, and
- IF NOT, then they have only themselves to blame for the poverty & death,
that the next generations of Palestinians endure, like the past few !!!

Tibi / Tubas ...your comment is an absurd abstraction from the truth. -- In a recent meeting with young Likud supporters, PM Netanyahu boasted of his settlement building achievements: “I was threatened in Washington: ‘not one brick’ [of settlement construction] … after five years, we built a little more than one brick…” Asked “about peace talks with the Palestinians,” Netanyahu reportedly replied, “about the – what?” to which the audience responded by breaking out into laughter.

#1 Tibi Wake up! The whole world is aware of what the Nutanyahu gov. Did during "talks!" It was more Palestinian land cofiscation. More houses built for Zionist squatters on Palestinian land! More extrajudicial killings of Palestinians by Israel! More arrest and detention of Palestinian children by Israel! More killing of Palestinian fishermen by Israel! More closure of Palestinian water wells! More prevention of Palestinian rights to worship... etc. etc!

You're right, Tibi. The Palestinians need to bend their neck lower beneath the jackboot.

If they'd only been chanting, they wouldn't have been shot. In fact, they were throwing molotov cocktails, grenades, and other lethal projectiles. In this age of cell phone cameras, the Israelis wont shoot unless justified.

Quote: Probably they are chanting death to Israel, and death to Jews, so that the next generations, like the past one, never considers peace either, blah blah.... Isn't that what your Zionist friends shout: death to Arabs! death to Palestinians! There is nothing such a Palestinian, etc. Do some reflection of your own vile behavior. You should get banned from this site, as you are being paid by the Israeli govt to spout useless racist, supremacist propaganda.

#7 Nice of you to invent "facts" that sit well with your bullshit propaganda. No one was throwing grenades or molotovs.

No matter who is the abductor, as soon as Hamas leaders ask the kidnapers they free the boys, they?ll be freed. Hamas is betting that in the end, israel will give up and will accept another exchange of prisoners. That?s a sad scenario, because most israelis think the shalit issue was a mistake that encouraged more abductions like this, and therefore they have to avoid new exchanges.
