SALFIT (Ma'an) -- An elderly Palestinian man died early Saturday of heart attack during a heated argument with Israeli troops who broke into his house in the village of Haris in Salfit district in the northern West Bank.

Palestinian security sources said Israeli soldiers refused to allow family members of Jamil Ali Abed Jabir to take him to hospital for treatment after he suffered a heart attack and eventually died at home. The victim was in his 60s.

The sources explained that dozens of Israeli soldiers stormed Haris village, ransacked several homes and assaulted residents.

Jawad Muhammad Dawood suffered a hand fracture after Israeli troops brutally attacked him and his brother Jawdat during a raid on their home. In addition, seven family members inhaled tear gas after Israeli forces fired a canister in their home.

No detentions were reported in the village.

Just open the door, you have nothing to hide and nothing to fear. The targets are the Islamic fundamentalist terrorists.

Meanwhile the Christians are enjoying their Bet Lahem Live festival which kicked off on Thursday night along Bethlehem's historic Star Street, launching four days of music, theater, and open-air shopping and dining in the heart of the holy city's old town.

Sure there is something to fear. If you have a heart attack they will let you die!

There's no doubt, the Zionist mindset is the same as the Nazi's?In 2010,I recall reading about Palestinian farmer,Sameer Bani Fadel(Aqraba,WB)husband, father, farmer. His 12 goats his ONLY source of income.12 GOATS!Thugs from Ma'ale Efraim assaulted him & burned his goats,ALIVE,on a pyre,to punish him & family for NOT being Jewish!?12 goats provided food, water, milk, money for his children. If I could,I'd've bought 12,000 goats,to make up for Sameer's loss, just on that day.BDS ISRAEL ALL THE WAY!

How come the search of the settlers is around the West Bank, maybe if it is Hamas which I doubt the search should also be in Gaza. Just because Israel said that they were kidnap around the West Bank doesn't necessarily mean they are there somewhere. But I believe their search is staged and is concentrated around the West Bank because Abbas has his office in Ramallah and the unity agreement that he signed with Hamas.

@Mel - sorry, but i have to disagree with you this time: the aggression, violence, barbarism & cruelty of the zionist mindset definitely exceeds the Nazi's, BY FAR! izrael makes Hitler look like a fuzzy warm kitten in comparison.

THIS HAS TO STOP! If anything has made more CRYSTAL CLEAR the absoluet USELESSNESS of the United Nations, this carnage has. Israel is a rooque state, and should be kicked out of the UN and out of Palestine. ENOUGH!

1) Why were they searching this house? 2) Was this man in any associated to Hamas? 3) Why are the Christians in Bethlehem being left alone? 4) It's pretty incredible how many of you say that this has to stop, but you have absolutely nothing to say for the kidnappers. 5) #2, you are an idiot.

Hi Levi, if two teenagers disappeared in your neighborhood, would you accept that the US military raided your home. I don't think so.

8, Julie, you are being ridiculous. SHAME ON YOU! If Israel followed the Nazi model - which it does not in any way - it would have no Palestinian problem; all the Palestinians would be dead.
