NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli troops shot and injured two Palestinian teenagers and physically assaulted a female reporter during predawn raids in several neighborhoods in Nablus city and its neighboring villages in the northern West Bank, local sources told Ma'an.

Clashes broke out with Israeli forces in the center of Nablus onn Amman Street as well as in the nearby Askar and Balata refugee camps after soldiers stormed the area.

Palestinian Red Crescent medics told Ma'an that 17-year-old Muhammad Muhsin al-Asmar sustained minor wounds in the neck as a result of gunshot shrapnel while 19-year-old Ahmad al-Wazani received a gunshot to his thigh.

The two were subsequently taken to Rafidia Hospital for treatment.

Separately, journalist Samah Samahnah was bruised in the eye after Israeli soldiers assaulted her during a raid in Askar refugee camp.

Samahnah works for a local radio station.

An Israeli military spokesperson did not immediately return calls seeking comment.

They are in the West Bank searching and searching and they wont find anyone. Then they will probably say, they might be in Gaza. They go to Gaza and search and that's where trouble will start. But in Gaza the IDF will have trouble with Hamas, they can shoot back. Israel will lose few men and here goes the war again. And over what?. Over the unity not the kidnapping.

All the borders are well sealed, so the search will almost * CERTAINLY NOT SPREAD TO GAZA or anywhere else. And, Since the unity government formed almost 3 weeks previously, the searching, detaining, etc. is again almost * CERTAINLY NOT RELATED TO "UNITY", and since the Hamas kidnappings happened a few hours prior to the searching. It is * CERTAINLY RELATED TO THE KIDNAPPINGS OF THE TEENAGERS.
