BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Fourteen rockets were fired at southern Israel from the Gaza Strip overnight after an Israeli airstrike killed one Palestinian and injured at least three others late Sunday.

At least 14 rockets were fired at southern Israel, with one causing damage to a residential property in the Sdot Negev regional council, Israel's army said.

The Iron Dome intercepted two rockets, an army spokeswoman added.

Israeli warplanes struck 12 targets overnight, which the army said were being used for "terrorist activity". One man was killed and three others injured in the attacks.

On Friday, two Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a car near Gaza City.

The cross-border violence comes amid increased tensions as an Israeli military campaign across the West Bank enters its third week.

The campaign, which is the largest deployment since the early 2000s, has left eight Palestinians dead, more than 130 wounded, and more than 560 detained.

Campaign? Campaign for what? It's not that there is a lack of column space here - it's the internet. What Maan is purposefully leaving out is saying the "Israeli military campaign across the West Bank enters its third week in the search for three Israeli high school students suspected of being abducted and illegally held or already murdered by Palestinians"

@ Brian Cohen: For sure, they are looking for disappeared settler teens, who were illegally in the West Bank in the 1st place, whereas Israel illegally detains over five thousand Palestinians and has killed more than ten Palestinians and injured over 100 over the past 2 weeks alone. And these are facts, not mere suspicions. Meanwhile, the campaign is from the Zionist officials' own words intended to weaken Hamas infrastructure in the West Bank, not so much about recovering the missing settlers.

Hey Ruben, what do you call people that indoctrinate their youth with radical Ideology, instill hatred in them, then tell them its ok to blow themselves up to terrorize Israeli civilians, not even military targets, but buses and cafe's. I don't know what you call them, but I call them animals. How many goldfish is a human life worth to you? how about cockroaches? 3 innocent teens no matter what they nationality or religion is, is worth more than a million Hamas scum to me.
