RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Officials at the Gaza Strip power plant announced Monday that they are no longer able to provide electricity for eight hours per day.

The company said in a statement that it was “doing its utmost” to provide power for water wells, sewage plants, hospitals and medical centers to prevent any humanitarian or environmental disaster.

The statement called upon all concerned parties to increase the available amount of electricity.

The company recommended people not to increase their consumption of electricity, especially in the hot weather, and to avoid turning on air conditioning in public and private facilities and mosques.

You have plenty of money for Qassem missiles, mortars, weapons and suicide belts but taking care of your people doesn't interest you at all. Shame on you. Shame on "palestinians" for voting in Hamas.

Yes because the missles Hamas fires are worth millions of dollars, there not homemade barely functioning rockets. Praise Israel for bombing a population of millions because 1 adult, and two teens we're kidnapped and killed by two people whom Israel has already killed. #israel4ever

Oh three American silly and most certainly ignorant voices, commenting on something which they know absolutely nothing about. How nice for you to be able to sit in the comfort of your well lit houses and offer remarks on the social and economic situation in Gaza. Perhaps you may all wish to sit in the dark and think about what it may mean to live under occupation. Whereby a violent, foreign, racist state controls the means to your livelihood.
