BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Clashes re-erupted between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians Thursday in Shufat in east Jerusalem.
Israeli soldiers shot rubber-coated bullets, tear-gas canisters and stun grenades at youths, while the youths threw rocks and empty bottles and shut nearby streets with garbage containers.
A complete strike was observed all day in Shufat.
Medic Iyad Abu Sneineh said 13 people were injured during the renewed clashes.
Medical officer Tahadi Toulkhi was also hit with a stun grenade shrapnel in the head.
Dozens of people were injured Thursday in clashes after 16-year-old Muhammad Abu Khdeir was found murdered in Jerusalem, in a possible revenge attack for the abduction and killing of three Israeli teenagers.
