PPS: Israeli court extends detentions

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- An Israeli court extended the detention of 10 Palestinians and put another on house arrest on Monday, a lawyer said.

Mufid al-Hajj, lawyer for the Palestinian Prisoner's Society, said that the detention of Karim Abu Khdeir, Fathi al-Shawish, and Ammar Abu Hussein was extended for a second time to July 9.

The detention of two minors, Mahmoud Abu Khdeir and Muhammad Abu Nea, was extended until July 8.

Meanwhile, Israeli authorities extended the detention of Ahmad Salhab, Nasser Abu Subeih, Khaled Abu Snineh, Alaa Abu Laban, and Shafe Salhab for a third time until June 9.

Mahmoud Abu Rmeileh was sentenced to house arrest for 10 days, prevented from entering the Shufat neighborhood for 30 days, and fined 5000 shekels ($1,461).
