JAFFA (Ma’an) – Hundreds of Palestinian residents of Israel rallied Saturday evening in Jaffa near the Martyrs’ Square in the old city as sirens sounded in adjacent Tel Aviv warning of rockets coming from Gaza.

The protestors waved Palestinian flags and posters calling for an end of the ongoing Israeli military offensive against the Gaza Strip.

A few Israelis tried to obstruct and disrupt the rally, but their number was too small to stop hundreds of protestors, a Ma’an reporter observed.

The rally was organized by the Jaffa youth movement through their Facebook page. The group published a call for the rally under the slogan “Stop the massacres in Gaza.”

Gee whiz, why don't they protest the hundreds of rockets launched into Israel? I guess that didn't bother them very much.

This is always the case. Nobody was protesting when Hamas attacked Israel. Where were the protesters? Now they protest because Israel responded. What does Israel suppose to do, wait till Hamas murders everybody????????
