GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The Ministry of Health of Gaza warned on Saturday of a “real disaster” due to power shortages, lack of power needed to operate machinery and a lack of necessary medical supplies and medicine.

The ministry's general director of medical stores said during a news conference on Saturday that hospitals lack medicines needed for emergencies and operations.

Ashraf Abu Mahadi added that “there will be a major crisis if medications are not available, especially anesthetics and intensive care. Basic medical supplies are all out and what we have in our warehouses will not be enough for days.”

Abu Mahadi said that “what has been used during the Israeli offensive is multiple times more than what we have received in the last couple of days.”

The general director of the ministry’s maintenance department warned of the repeated power shortages and lack of necessary power to operate machines. he said that hospitals have been using generators for the last couple of days because of the power shortages.

“Al-Shifaa Hospital uses one generator to operate. The al-Nasser medical center still works on generators, and power shortages damage the generators because they cannot keep operating round the clock,” Islam al-Hamadin added.

The European Hospital has been facing a blackout for 48 hours, he added.

That is Zionist Israel's full intention,to impose another"real disaster"& humanitarian crisis(AGAIN)on occupied/blockaded non-Jews! That's 'normal' for the abnormal occupation i.e. DISRUPTION of life,persecution,destruction of human rights,dignity,basic human rights(food,water,hygiene,prayers)among non-Jews.ESPECIALLY now,during Ramadan,when Gazans try to be MORE observant(water/hygiene)&fast(sharing food)then Eid(MORE food,treats needed).Israel knows this.That's why it's TWICE as cruel!

p.s. The Gaza Health Ministry said also that 50% of vicitims killed by Israel are SCHOOL KIDS! SCHOOL KIDS!
Way to go Zionism. Hope you enjoy your solitude? You bring it on yourself!
You stand alone!

So Hamas starts a war and doesn't think to prepare for casualties? Just more proof that Hamas is not fit to lead Gaza anywhere- and certainly not to peace with Israel. Believe me, the world and Israel cries at what Hamas is making Israel do, but all responsibility falls on Hamas, and they simply don't care who dies in their jihad against Israel. You have our sympathy. But look to your own leaders to see who started this mess.

Those power outages are Hamas misfires at Gaza's electricity source, major lines are down due to Hamas rockets.

Surreal. Palestinians complain about lack of electricity after Hams knocked out several transmission lines for power to Gaza with some of its rocket attacks. If Hospitals lack medicine it is because Hamas spent the money on rockets and tunnels, not to mention stole the money for themselves and their cronies. When will Palestinians take responsibility for their own actions.
