BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Palestinian religious and national institutions jointly announced a general strike on Monday in protest against the Israeli offensive on Gaza, which has left 425 Palestinians dead in the last 13 days.

The general director of the Palestinian initiative Mustafa Barghouthi told Ma'an on Sunday that Islamic and nationalist leaders in the West Bank as well as Palestinian leaders inside Israel had decided to go on strike on Monday in solidarity with Gaza.

The head of the public workers union Bassam Zakarneh said a strike will be observed on Monday in all institutions and ministries in condemnation of the "massacres" suffered by the people in Gaza.

This is the result of Hamas. Hamas wants war and Hamas got war. Don't believe me ? Go to their website and read their motto; "This is Jihad - victory or martyrdom" Anybody who supports Hamas supports the death of innocent Palestinians.

Of course, instead of just STRIKE, you could all HIKE(MARCH)down to Gaza to help dig out your INJURED&DEAD Palestinians & pick up the body parts, instead? Take your FACE-MASKS & spare WB power-generators with you.The freezers in the morgues of all hospitals are OFF.There ARE A LOT of body parts of adults & children/babies to be identified for burial. Take plenty of white shrouds & vomit bags! DEFY you occupiers & refuse to be DIVIDED &RULED!

Yawn. It didn't happen. Most Palestinians who are not Islamic fanatics seem to be pretty pleased that Israel is getting rid of Hamas for them. It keeps the Iranian Islamofascist movement farther away from them.
