GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Hamas leader and member of parliament Mushir al-Masri said on Friday that the group had not agreed on a ceasefire with Israel, despite tentative reports that an agreement had been worked out.

"There is no ceasefire with Israel at this stage and the resistance still has much to surprise the Israelis with," he said.

Al-Masri added that the resistance is "running the battle wisely."

"Israel is looking for a delusional victory through their massacres, killing children, and destroying houses on the heads of their residents," al-Masri said.

"This proves that Israel has run out of targets," he added.

Palestinian militants have killed at least 33 Israeli soldiers and injured hundreds more since they launched a ground invasion last week.

Israeli forces, meanwhile have killed more than 800 Gazans, of which they claim about one-quarter were militants.

Hamas leaders should stand in an open field in Gaza and declare their willingness to fight on. The question will be who cuts them down first, Israel or their own people.

Hell no. Israel hasn't ran out of targets. They can create one if they need to. They good at creating problems for the Palestinians so they can have an excuse to use it against them. All the killing that Israel is inflicting on the civilian in Gaza is to pressure Hamas to accept a ceasefire unconditionally.

Hamas are unlikely to accept an unconditional ceasefire, the conflict has gone too far. Ever seen the film 'Tombstone'?

Israel claims that one out every four people it has killed are "militants." 25% is a failing grade anywhere in the world. The fact that humans lives are the currency in this calculation makes this a crime against humanity.
