GAZA CITY (AFP) -- Israeli warplanes hit the house of Hamas' top leader in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, inside the al-Shati refugee camp, his son said Tuesday.

"The Israeli enemy struck our house twice," Abed Salam Haniyeh said in a statement.
