GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The Egyptian authorities opened the Rafah crossing for those injured during the Israeli offensive and for foreign passport holders on Thursday, officials said..
The head of the Gaza crossings authority told Ma'an that the Rafah crossing works according to the Egyptian system that determines the number of travelers.
Maher Abu Sabha pointed out that residents are crowded at the crossing waiting to travel.
Buses that leave the crossing to the Egyptian side immediately head to the Cairo airport, Abu Sabha added.
