NEW YORK (Ma'an) -- The UN Human Rights Council has appointed a three-member panel to investigate allegations of humanitarian law violations during Israel's Gaza assault, reports said Monday.

The commission of inquiry will be headed by Canada's William Schabas, an international law professor at Middlesex University in London, the UN council said in a statement quoted by Bloomberg news.

The other members are Amal Alamuddin, a British-Lebanese lawyer, and Doudou Diene of Senegal, the UN's former Special Rapporteur on contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, the New York-based news agency reported.

"Investigate"? "Investigate"? What the f*ck is to "investigate" Schabas? You know the difference between genocide & we know that's a"loaded"term. But I don't think you'll need MUCH time to "investigate" 67YRS of MASSIVE,ATROCIOUSLY DISPROPORTIONATE,WAR CRIMES & cruel, indecent, degrading,UNUSUAL collective punishment (WAR CRIMES)& just the ISRAELI ILLEGAL OCCUPATION,ALONE,OF THE LAST 1/2 CENTURY,Sir,as Absolutist HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSES EXTRAORDINAIRE! Judeo-Zionism=Nazism.'INVESTIGATE' THAT!

Can you let me know when the UN Human Rights Council has appointed a three-member panel to investigate allegations of humanitarian law violations during Gaza's assault on Israel's civilians. By firing thousands of rockets and missiles since 2005, thank you?

Given that the UNHRC is a rabidly racist and thoroughly incompetent body - we do not expect anything positive to result from these 3 people getting their names dragged through the UN mud. Diene, however, is a UN veteran and we expect the least from him. We already know that the UN protects its own bureaucrats and nothing will be done about the repeated cases of weapons stored in UNRWA schools (with obvious complicity from UNRWA local workers, but probably not the overpaid foriegners.

Of course, Israel (and supporters) will complain bitterly about this UNHRC panel and no doubt call for all three members to recuse themselves due to conflict of interests or lack of impartiality but the REAL reason is there's not enough Jews on it. But why couldn't a Canadian professor who has said he wants to see Netanyahu in the dock at the Hague, a HIGH profile Lebanese lawyer and a guy who looks like Seal conduct an IMPARTIAL investigation into "allegations of humanitarian law violations"?

Way back in 1980 I had conversations with the best and the brightest of Israel’s former Directors of Military Intelligence. I said to him over coffee one morning that I had come to the conclusion that it was all a myth. What I meant and went on to say was that Israel’s existence had never, ever, been in danger from any combination of Arab force. Through a sad smile he replied, “The trouble with us Israelis is that we have become the victims of our own propaganda.” - Alan Hart

One day Israel will accept its truth and what it does to humanity in the name of a Jewish State speaking for all Jews. Israel incites and breeds anti semitism Worldwide by its actions against the Palestinians. Did Jews enjoy life under Occupation in Germany...No. Why expect Palestinians to stand in paddocks with no cover so you can slaughter them? Would Israeli's...No. Would Israeli's allow another people to impose their religion on them....No...Why impose your religious beliefs on Palestinians.

I hope they place themselves in danger from snipers. And visit the Gazan universities, hospitals and schools that have been in the past converted to arms depots/dumps and rocket launching pads by the terrorist organization Hamas. Particularly those facilities built with the UN, EU, and Japanese aid money.

(contd.) It's just a change from the usual Jew-heavy approach like Martin Indyk, arch-Zionist, neo-con, ex-US ambassador being appointed to IMPARTIALLY head Kerry's last ludicrous attempt at "peace talks".
