GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The Popular Resistance Committees on Monday said that the demilitarization of Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza should not be up for discussion in the Cairo ceasefire talks with Israel.

PRC Secretary-General Kamal al-Nayrub said in a statement that demilitarization -- a key demand of the Israeli delegation in Cairo talks for a lasting truce in Gaza -- was a "red line" that would not be crossed.

"The blood of our leaders shows us that there is no room for peace with the cowardly Zionist, neither should there be any negotiations over the inalienable rights of our people, no matter what sacrifices are made, until all our displaced people return to their lands and properties," al-Nayrub said.

What the PRC thinks should be up for discussion and what is actually up for discussion are two different things. PRC needs to get over itself.

Come on! demilitarizing the resistance against the brutal occupiers. This is like making the entire population of Gaza easy cannon fodder for the brutal Zionist war machine when & where it pleases. It's better to die fighting to the last blood than to be downtrodden by the obscene, brutal & sadistic Zionist entity.

I'm trying to picture how this demilitarization would work. Hamas members would march single file and drop their AK-47, RPGs, Qassams, Fajr-5 etc in a big pile, then sing Kumbaya, go home and be peace-loving men?

Hey gadi! What're you doing in Uruguay??? You can never understand do you??? Whether disarmed or armed the murderous Zionist entity is intent on annihilating the population of Gaza with the discreet approval of their American puppets in Washington. That's what some twisted Zionist leaders were suggesting recently.
