HEBRON (Ma’an) – Two young Palestinian men suffered minor wounds Sunday afternoon after they were hit by rubber-coated bullets in the feet during clashes with Israeli troops in the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron, a local spokesman said.

Muhammad Ayyad Awad of the Beit Ummar popular committee against Israel’s separation wall and settlements told Ma’an that clashes with Israeli forces broke out in Asida neighborhood after school pupils rallied in the area protesting the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Israeli soldiers, he said, fired rubber-coated bullets and tear-gas canisters haphazardly at the protestors and at houses in the town. As a result, many residents and bystanders were hurt as a result of inhaling tear gas.

Separately, Israeli soldiers smashed the rear windshield of a Palestinian private car at the northern entrance to Beit Ummar after they stopped the car and questioned the driver Muhammad Ahmad Younis al-Alami, 25.

Ah yes, Beit Ummar my neighbors down the highway who teach their kids to hate, to make war, and to reject peace. I'd love a friendly football match between my kid's local team and a same age team from Beit Ummar, but the Palestinians say sport is a weapon, Jewish kids are evil and must be killed, and any Palestinian who tries to organize any programs to bridge the divide between our peoples is attack and beaten up or killed.

Right, Mr. Cohen, so it's totally acceptable in your eyes for Israeli soldiers to fire bullets at people that are simply protesting the despicable and atrocious acts your "state" is committing against them? Give me a break. Your statements are such bogus BS. Israeli kids are taught that all Arabs are terrorists and want to kill them. That is such garbage. How many people out there know about crap like "Caliber 3", an Israeli academy that trains people, including kids, to kill Arabs??

Mr. Cohen your desperate attempts to deny the brutal killing of innocent Palestinians by the Israeli government are pathetic. The truth will come out. The lies and the hasbara will fail. The great irony is that the Israeli government following in the footsteps of the anti-semites .
